This April, businesses across East Tennessee are partnering with the Autism Society of East TN to create welcoming, inclusive spaces for individuals and families on the spectrum.
Family Fun Day began as one sensory-friendly event in Knoxville.
Today, it has grown into a month-long movement happening in multiple communities; because access should not be limited to one location or one day.
What Is Family Fun Day?
Family Fun Day is a series of intentionally welcoming events hosted by local businesses throughout April.
Each participating business selects a date and time to:

Create a thoughtful, welcoming environment

Celebrate Autism Acceptance Month in their own community
Every event is different, but the goal is the same:
To ensure families can experience community comfortably and confidently.
