Relative Caregiver Program (RCP)
Eligibility is based on but not limited to these main factors: -Caregiver is at or below 200% of poverty level.
- Caregiver must provide financial and identity documentation including: birth certificates for children, Social Security cards for all members of the household, insurance cards, immunization records for children, proof of income, proof of food stamp benefits, Families First benefits and court documents.
-Caregiver must be a relative of the child in custody. (Grandparent, aunt, uncle, sibling over 18, cousin, up to the 5th degree of relationship.)
We offer but are not limited to:
-One-time Financial Aid-- Designed to help in times of crisis, the RCP offers one-time financial
assistance for essentials such as food, mortgage or rental help, utility bills, etc.
-Enrichment Activities-- Designed to help families enjoy activities together, the RCP offers quarterly activities for the entire family, at no cost to them. (i.e. movie tickets, corn maze outing, water park day, Christmas party, among others).
-Relationship Building-- Designed to create a support system for you and your family, the RCP offers monthly meetings for networking and resource sharing between caregivers in the program. (Also known as Support Groups)
-Home Visits-- Designed to aid in understanding available resources, the RCP does in-home visits on a monthly or quarterly basis.
