A new center has opened in Knoxville to diagnosis and treat autism. Child Therapy Services had a ribbon cutting and open house on June 18, and is now open for appointments.
The owners, Brent and Jaime Hemsley, have a five year old son on the spectrum, and decided to open Child Therapy Services after their son’s treatment center, Parent-Child Services Group, closed last month. This family knows how hard it is to find the right services after a diagnosis, and they want to help others get answers.
Their behavioral psychologist, Dr. Bill Allen, is a member of the Tennessee Autism Summit Team who conducts learning and developmental evaluations, and their BCBA, Elizabeth Gagliardi, has a focus on verbal behavior, skill acquisition, and teaching children functional and independent skills.
Child Therapy Services is now open at 8870 Cedar Springs Lane, Suite 104, Knoxville, TN 37923. Please visit their website for additional information about scheduling, insurance, and speech and occupational therapy services.
