The Greeneville Astros minor league baseball team is hosting an autism awareness night during their August 24 game against Elizabethton. In addition to donating a portion of all ticket sales to local autism organizations in Tri-Cities, Knoxville and Chattanooga, the Astros will be raffling away three custom puzzles featuring different views of the stadium and have invited a local therapist to set up a display during the game to demonstrate different sensory items used during therapy. Representatives from local autism organizations will also be present to talk to the crowd about what autism is and what support is available locally.
