 Hamilton County

Greater Chattanooga Aspies (GCA) is a support/social group for adults with officially diagnosed High Functioning Autism/Asperger’s in Chattanooga.  Support group meetings are the 3rd Thursday of each month from 6-8pm with a speaker and support group time.  Socials monthly. Mothers Moving Mountains Support Group for families facing Autism and other special needs meets the 2nd Saturday of each month at Nutrition World’s classroom: 6201 Lee Hwy, Chat. TN 37421 from 1 – 3.  Their meetings include education, information, family fun, etc.  Children welcome at all meetings.  This month’s topic is “Feasting and Food Allergies”, with facilitator Lisa Dupree, M.Ed. Knox County

K-Town Family to Family Support Group is for family members and friends of those who are suffering with emotional and behavioral challenges. Meetings are the second Thursday of each month from 6 – 7:30pm in Knoxville. They offer a chance to talk with others who understand and can give emotional support, plus share ways to cope, exceed expectations, and achieve dreams. Autism Society of East Tennessee (ASA-ETC) Kingsport Autism Support Group – The group meets the first Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. at Mountain Region Speech and Hearing located at V.O.
