This is a hands-on workshop that is designed for parents who have attended the BASIC RIGHTS Workshop and are ready for the Next Step – fine tuning the IEP document to reflect all of your child’s unique needs to lead toward positive educational outcomes. Participants are asked to bring the IEP and learn specific techniques to use in developing goals and objectives designed to meet their child’s individual needs. JUN 8, 2013 – ASA-ETC’s Friendship Club Tri Cities is taking another trip to Bays Mountain Park in Kingsport, TN!! This event is back by popular demand from last summer…don’t miss it!! Event is free (please RSVP in advance) and registration is only between 10:00 – 10:45am. Scheduled events are as follows: 11:00 am – first barge ride (25 people max) leaves the dock (must be on barge before dock time), and 11:30am – second barge ride leaves the dock. 12 noon – Feed the wolves meatballs, 1:00 pm – visit the planetarium, and 2:00pm is the zipline (for zipline additional waivers and forms will be required).
