ASA-ETC was incorporated in 1989 and serves 36 East Tennessee counties (from Chattanooga to Tri-Cities).

- Individual information, resources, and support for parents, teachers and professionals via email, newsletter, website, and individual parents in our region
- ASA-ETC Support Groups & contact infor for other East TN support groups.
- Social Skills Friendship Club activities for children with ASD & their families
- Bi-annual Conferences with recognized autism-experts
- Education Workshops for parents, teachers and professionals including:
- Autism Orientation for newly diagnosed families, teachers and professionals throughout East TN.
- Emergency Responder Workshops in Knoxville and Tri-Cities
- Autism-Specific Workshops including ones tailored for secondary education providers, day care providers, respite providers, etc.
- Host disability workshops in Knoxville and Morristown areas
- Social Events for children with ASD and their families
- Autism Awareness activities and events throughout East Tennessee
- Advocacy with state and local governments
